Increasing in popularity over the last decade, Quartz is one of the most durable man mad stones on the market. Many of the colors mimic the look of natural stone without the risk of staining.

No maintinance
Fairly recent to the stone market, Quartzite is more durable then marble and less grainy than granite. Quartzite offers a more subtle flow similar to that of marble but not as delicate. It can handle every day usage but does need to be sealed regularly.

The most delicate of all the stones. Not suitable for the messy cook or the clumbsy pot holder. This stone will stain and chip if not treated properly. But its known for its elegant timeless look. Best used in for the occasional cook.
